Massey Crowder Buchanan Family Collection
This collection consists of 3 Hollinger boxes of materials pertaining to the family and to bits of Columbus history. The Georgia School of Technology Yearbooks belonged to James Lewis Buchanan, the brother of Helen Buchanan Crowder. The UGA Pandora Yearbooks and the U.S. Navy Yearbooks belonged to Joseph Pearce Massey, the husband of Carolyn Crowder Massey. The newspaper articles about segregation and integration are from the 1950s of the Columbus newspapers.
Max Goodley and Wilford C. Foote Collection
The collection consists of one small box of materials containing the original manuscripts of Goodley's poems and novels and receipts and papers of Foote, including some personal letters.
Mayor’s Commission on Diversity Collection
This collection comprises documents collected by Dr. Craig Lloyd while he served on the Mayor’s Commission on Diversity between 1996 and 2000. These papers include documents on the Black Heritage Trail, from subcommittees including the Eugene J. Bullard Memorial and Entertainment Subcommittees, notes and minutes from general membership meetings and papers dealing with the annual International Festival sponsored by the commission.
