Harry Kruger Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection is mostly unprocessed, but includes several boxes of 78 rpms, and LPs, some apparently recorded at performances of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra in the 1970s and 1980s. There is a partial, handwritten listing of performances in the administrative folder of the collection.

Biographical / Historical
Harry Kruger was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1929 and died there on October 9, 2009. He was a music professor at Columbus State University from 1965 to 2000, and conducted the Columbus Symphony from 1965 to 1986. He also founded the Middle Georgia Symphony orchestra in 1977 in Macon, Georgia and was its conductor, as well.
