This collection consists of one folder of the names of the captains and their vessels on the rivers before 1867. The list includes the Apalachicola/Chattahoochee and Flint rivers. It was compiled by Edward A. Mueller, a well-known Florida steamboat authority, for his book published in 1986. The folder was originally numbered MC 087 when it was part of the Columbus Public Library.
