Selma Pou Collection

This small collection consists of 11 folders of the writings of Selma A. Pou. There are 10 short stories written by Mrs. Pou during the 60's and one letter to Loretto Chappell about her stories, or her "vagrant children", as she referred to them. This collection was formerly MC 027 at the public library.

Sisters of Mercy Collection

Scope and Contents In 1862 four members of the Sisters of Mercy order left St. Augustine for Columbus, in the midst of the Civil War. They established the St. Joseph's Convent in 1867 and immediately opened a school, which became St. Joseph's Academy. It closed in 1952.
