Materials document the day to day duties of the Central of Georgia Railroad and the Southern Railroad Systems. Included is information regarding passenger rates, departure times, accidents, rate collections, etc. Some personal items are also included such as deed to lands in Alabama.

This small collection consists only of Jennie Des Portes daybook/diary from 1914 to 1920. The leather notebook is imprinted with” Compliments of R. E. Whittlesey, Tax Collector, Muscogee County, Columbus, Georgia”.
Jennie May Robinson Collection
Two bound volumes of sheet music, some of it purchased from Columbus music dealers. They include early Victorian illustration and some songs of Jenny Lind, known as the Swedish Nightingale. These volumes were owned by Savannah (Vannie) Lewis Buford (1835-1900). She was the maternal grandmother of the donor, Miss Jennie May Robinson. A copy of letter with some genealogical information is also included.
