The month of May, 1994 was taken up almost exclusively with the groundbreaking ceremony held at Fort Mitchel, Alabama, on the 25th. This folder also contains a transcript of the Census of the Creek Nation: The Lower Towns, of 1832, as well as the list of people who sponsored the names of Indians included in that census to benefit the Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Center.
