Starting on Sunday Jan 4, there is a dedication of flags at Trinity Church in memory of Mana and Papa Golden. Toward back of diary, dates split 1942-1943 in different inks. December 1942 war time Columbus, kerosene rationing office is in East Highlands. Porter Golden is home after 14 months in the Pacific. Details on Christmas gifts, Barbara getting art books and a smock and Papa giving war bonds.
