Scope and Contents
This collection consits of 20 series featuring correspondence, photographs, audio/visual materials, and hand written notes of Col. Richard Hallock during his time in the United States Military. This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Materials Specific Details
His assignments at Fort Campbell related to the 508th Airborne Regimental Combat Team and the reorganization of the maintenance of the vehicles of the 511th Airborne Infantry. He conducted several Army-wide studies on the essentiality of equipment items "in Tables of Organization and Equipment." Hallock also developed and implemented a system for the receipt and issue of equipment, which was adopted Army-wide. He also served on several courts-martial.
