This collection consits of 20 series featuring correspondence, photographs, audio/visual materials, and hand written notes of Col. Richard Hallock during his time in the United States Military. This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Materials Specific Details

These photos were taken to document the construction of field defenses and the handling and storage of ammunition in combat. J. Cleary is identified on the back of many of the photos, sometimes with the rank of Corporal and sometimes of Sargent, of the 7th Signal Corps photo Section, 7th Infantry Division. Some of these photos were taken by others, but most were by Cleary.
