Scope and Contents
This collection consits of 20 series featuring correspondence, photographs, audio/visual materials, and hand written notes of Col. Richard Hallock during his time in the United States Military. This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Materials Specific Details
During this tour at Fort Benning, his assignment was to serve as "Member and Chief of Review and Analysis Office and, concurrently, Airborne Advisor, the Infantry Board...the advisor on all airborne matters." This folder contains mostly administrative documents relating to promotions, assignments and then Major Hallock's transfer to Korea.
One of Hallock's mission during his second tour at Fort Benning was to redesign the parachute harness used in airborne training.
