This collection consits of 20 series featuring correspondence, photographs, audio/visual materials, and hand written notes of Col. Richard Hallock during his time in the United States Military. This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Materials Specific Details

These journals/diaries/notes were kept by Col. Hallock in a series of spiral-bound notebooks from 1971 through 1989. He kept very detailed notes of meetings, debriefings, conferences and trips which he used as aides memoire for dictation into letters, reports, memos, etc. Many of the notebooks have overlapping dates. Most of them have Col. Hallock's note "Dictated Out." Col. Hallock's metal paper-clips have been replaced with plastic ones.
