This collection consits of 20 series featuring correspondence, photographs, audio/visual materials, and hand written notes of Col. Richard Hallock during his time in the United States Military. This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Materials Specific Details

This box contains information relating to the Cooper-Macdonald cooperation and its role in the development of the M-16 as it related to SAWS, as well as Col. Hallock's contribution. A key contributor and correspondent between Cooper-Macdonald and Richard Hallock was William Mullen. Also included, Newspaper clippings related to SAWS and the development of the M-16 are included in the final folders in the box, divided by date and content.
