This collection covers his time in Iran, development of RAND, Korea Conflict, World War II, several U.S. Bases including Fort Henry Benning.

Besides letters to Richard, this folder also contains letters to Jane and their children from Richard's grandparents, as well as information on the funerals of his grandfather, the Reverend Dr. Gerard B. F. Hallock (January 28, 1856-December 6, 1953) and his grandmother, Anna Cobb Hallock (1859-May 3, 1954). There is also other genealogical information about the Hallock’s and related families.
