Processing Information
Frances J. Ridgon was a sister of Harry Cook Jackson. This folder contains a letter from her to Richard Russell and his reply, August 1969 and several photos of her and her family. It also includes a book titled Conversations for the Young: Designed to Promote the Profitable Reading of the Holy Scriptures by Richard Watson, published in 1851. It was a gift to Frances from her maternal grandmother Josephine Brooks Herndon in 1924. The book has handwritten notes by Francis Jackson. There is also a photo of Ferne Jackson, the first victim of the Columbus Stocking Strangler. Her connection, if any, to Harry Jackson’s family is unknown
