Scope and Contents From the Collection: Dr. Andrew John Galos (February 18, 1918-June 20, 2004) was born in Hungary to Max and Margaret Galos, and died in in Kirkland, Washington. He and his family immigrated to Yonkers, New York in 1928. He married Ruth Fishberg in November 1945. They had one son, Michael. Dr. Galos is buried in Gan Shalom Cemetery in Kirkland, Washington. Galos began studying violin in Hungary at the age of 5 and played professionally until his death. His curriculum vita included: 1942-1945 – U.S....
