After Eddie O. Martin committed suicide on April 16, 1986, the Columbus Museum agreed to take custody of his possessions. They prepared an inventory of items which were received by the Museum in July of 1986. In 1991 the Pasaquan Preservation Society decided to dispose of much of the art of Eddie O. Martin, and used the services of their long-time representative, the Connell Galleries of Atlanta.
