Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection consists of 20 folders containing copies of the school board minutes of the Board of Education in Phenix City, Alabama. The folder labeling has been left intact as received from the Columbus Public Library in the fall of 2013, where this collection was originally labeled MC 090. The collection contains information concerning school business, staff, students and property dating from 1913 to 1980. There is a separate set of minutes for the "black teachers", 1923-1960....
