This small collection consists of 2 pieces. The school class photograph is of the first class of Angie Lena Taylor, 1922-1924 at East Highlands School, 4A, 5B. The oversize diploma is for Angie Lena Taylor’s graduation from Columbus High School on June 3, 1920. There were 45 students in the class. Roland B. Daniel was the superintendent, T.C. Kendrick was the principal.

Biographical / Historical

Angie Lena Taylor, a Columbus native, graduated from Columbus High School in 1920 and went on to become a teacher, starting at East Highlands School in 1922. She taught for many years in the public school system.
