The 4 Hollinger boxes in this collection mostly contain materials related to a supervisor in management of a textile mill. There is a box of machine parts and tools used in the textile weaving trades.

Biographical / Historical
Southern Phenix Textiles is an historic textile manufacturing facility located on Broad St, Phenix City, Alabama. It was bult in 1968 and the facility originally made a name for itself as on of the first mills to weave 100% polyester goods. Historically operating as a key plant under Johnston Industries, Inc., the facility has served as fixture in the local Phenix City and Columbus, Georga industrial landscape.
The items in the collection were owned by Bobby James Baldwin Sr, 1933-2024, who was a supervisor at the plant.
