This letter was written from the Perry House in Columbus, Georgia in 1856 or 1858 by Daniel Cram to Clementina James of Montgomery. Letter was written before their marriage which took place February 11, 1857. Also mentioned in the letter is the wedding of Jessie Taylor and Dr. Alfred Scott James whom was married in St. John's on April 24, 1856
