Biographical / Historical

Thomas “Tom” Gates (1944-2025) was a Columbus, Georgia businessman and philanthropist. He was also involved with community organizations such as ISAC, Historic Columbus and The Original City Committee, which changed its name to Uptown Columbus, Inc in June of 1983.
