This collection is housed in one thin Hollinger box. Her restaurant reviews from the 1980s give a good view of the dining out experience of Columbus at that time.

The video produced by Historic Columbus, gives a good overview of the cities’ history, chronicling the Historic District and preservation. It uses archival drawings, old photographs, and postcards.

Biographical / Historical

Gail Greenblatt is a gourmet cook and free-lance food writer who gives lectures on healthy eating habits. She wrote the column Dining Out on the first and third Friday of each month for the Columbus Ledger. She also wrote “puff” pieces on Columbus people for the Columbus Magazine in the 80s..Daisy Tucker was her book editor and Jack Swift, her restaurant review editor at the newspaper. She became interested in healthy heart cooking in the early 70s when her husband was diagnosed with heart problems.
