This collection of The Anvil’s Ring contains issues from 1974 to 2018. An index is included for issues not present in this current collection which can still be ordered from the ABANA organization. The collection of the The Hammer’s Blow, also by the Artist-Blacksmiths’ Association of North America, dates from Spring 1993 to 2018.

Biographical / Historical

The Anvil’s Ring and The Hammer’s Blow are publication of the Artist’s Blacksmith’s Association of North America, or ABANA, which was founded at Westville Historic Handicrafts located in Lumpkin, Georgia in 1973. Historic Westville, as it is now known, encouraged guests to experience life in the 1850s through handicrafts such as sewing, cooking, woodworking, and blacksmithing.

Some issues and volumes are missing. For The Anvil's Ring, Volume 26 is missing. The Hammer's Blow is missing Volumes 6-7. The local chapter newsletters are also missing several volumes including 1-4. Volume 6 is also mis-labeled as well.
