This small collection consists of the transcription of the memoirs of Bailey George McClellan entitled “A Personal Account of the 10th Alabama Regiment, Co. D during the Civil War, 1861.” The publication date is shown as January 5, 1901. It appears the McClellan originally published his personal account in a newspaper, which has not been identified. The printed transcription is spiral bound.

McClellan gives detailed unit history, including unit movements, organization and living conditions of the soldiers.
