This small collection consists of one folder with three deeds dating from 1879-1890 from Russell County, Alabama. The first one is dated April 15, 1879 between W. A. McDougald and Narcissa Kimbrough and Patricia Broughton for lot 19, which mentions the old Federal Road near Seale. The second deed dated October 7, 1893, is for the same lot 19 from Jack Veasey to Annie Nevoles and John Nevoles. There is also a copy that was made of this deed. The third deed dating from November 1, 1900 is between J.A.Kimbrough and Jack and Josephine Veasey for the same land lot. Also included is a newspaper clipping announcing a symposium on the Federal Road.
