Note from Julie Harris to John Zeigler , 1992 February 17
Scope and Contents
The note reads in its entirety: “Dear Mr. Ziegler [sic] – Thank you so much for your kind letter of last April 21. Please forgive this late reply. And thank you, too, for sending me your niece’s story on the friendship of Carson and Edwin Peacock. In “Lucifer’s Child” by William Luce, the solo play I did last Spring there is a lovely section when Baroness Blixen, (Isak Dinesen) visited Carson in Nyack, N.Y. and she danced – with Marilyn Monroe. I hope all is well with you. Best wishes for a happy, healthy 1992. Cordially, Julie Harris” The note was enclosed in an envelope to Cathy Fullell with a note from Zeigler saying, “Dear Cathy – enclosed are a couple of items you might like to add to your collection. – Affectionally, John”
