The Board of Directors met, usually quarterly, and oversaw the annual meeting in December. The following folders should contain the meeting announcement, the agenda, the minutes, and any committee reports presented. They are not all complete, some containing only draft minutes, not all the reports, etc. The meeting records provide a good overview of what issues were occupying the Board at any given time. During its first few years, the Board materials could include any or all the three incarnations of this groups. Perhaps the most important committee of the Board was the Annual Indian Cultural Festival. The minutes of this committee are filed with the relative BoD minutes. Records of financial transactions are filed with the correspondence. The reports of the financial committee ae filed, along with the reports of other committees, with the minutes of the Board meetings. Records of financial transactions themselves are filed with the correspondence. Photocopies of checks were destroyed due to privacy considerations, but deposit slips are retained. Monthly statements of the associations financial institutions were also destroyed, as the relevant figures were reflected in the financial committee reports.
