 File — Box: 1, Folder: 4

Scope and Contents

This folder contains, among other items, a multi-part series from the Twin City News in Florida containing an on-going column titled, “Memories of Hardaway”. It provides a glimpse into life from the 1920s and 1930s on the 5,000-acre plantation in Gadsden County, Florida owned by the Hardaways of Columbus, Georgia. It was also called Rosemead Farms, but the community that lived there became known as simply Hardaway.
