A letter written by PD. Christian, Jr on November 9, 1970, recommending that BHH III meet a Lt. Mason H. Lampton of Louisville, Kentucky who was stationed at Fort Benning. Lampton was frequently playing polo in Atlanta. Mason Lampton eventually became Ben Hardaway’s so-in-law. The folder also documents his continuing involvement with Saint Paul’s Methodist Church; fox hunting events; the breeding, gifts and purchase of hounds; and engineering work for the School District.
