Scope and Contents

Even as work progressed on the Memorial and Plaza, plans were made for the Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Center, to be built next to the Plaza. Design and fund-raising for this project began in earnest in 1990. There are also references to the Indian Festival which occurred May 8-10 in Albany, Georgia. There is a memo dated April 20, 1990, from John Lupold to The Inner-Circle of the Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Association, including Bev, Fred, Franki, Billy and Doug). It concerned revisions to the Prospectus of the Indian Heritage Association and the Indian Memorial being planned for Fort Mitchell. Also included are specific comments on wording, and two different drafts of the Prospectus.
