Scope and Contents
These programs include two programs for piano recitals in 1930 and 1931 at which McCullers (then Lula Carson Smith) played Beethoven’s “The Turkish March” from The Ruins of Athens and Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody #2. There are also programs from concerts she attended and from her plays on Broadway and other locations.
