Box 3: A Cantus Christmas 2001
Scope and Contents
This series documents each of the annual Christmas concerts, including: conductor’s marked score, set of marked and bowed instrumental parts, piano rehearsal scores, chorus scores, printed program, performance CD, performance video cassettes and DVDs for some concerts, and miscellaneous items such as promotional brochures, instructions to singers., etc. In addition to the annual seasonal concerts, this series includes similar material relating to occasional concerts of vocal music mostly from the American Songbook. The concert material is filed chronologically by date of performance.

Processor’s note: The music filed here includes various parts that have the repertory sheets from the 2001 performance pasted over the 2000 music. There are also references to a shortened version which was performed on December 2, 2001 with the Montgomery Chorale at the Eastwood Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama. Both the parts marked 2001 and the parts with the inserts pasted over the 2000 parts are filed in these folders.
