Scope and Contents

The mission of Cantus Columbus was to offer high quality performances of the be best choral composition and arrangement for the public of the Chattahoochee Valley. It pursued this mission beginning in 1982 under the name Columbus Civic Chorale. From 2000 until 2019, when it ceased, it was known as Cantus Columbus, although it still used the corporate identity of the Columbus Civic Chorale for grant applications, and other legal purposes.

This series documents the founding and history of Cantus Columbus including By-Laws, IRS material, Repertoire Sheets for the Christmas series, audition materials, membership sheets, contact information, grants folders, publicity photos, newspaper clippings, etc.
