 File — Box: 1, Folder: 1

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

In the spring of 2010, students in Dr. Amanda Rees' Cultural Landscapes class at Columbus State University studied the cultural landscape of the Wynnton neighborhood of Columbus, Georgia to better understand their community. The students interviewed 10 community leaders and other residents who lived and worked both north and south of the road, often called the “Macon-Dixon Line”, suggesting a hard division between north and south Columbus. Instead, Wynnton residents on both sides of Macon Road displayed a strong sense of community pride. Each folder contains a release form and an audiocassette tape. There are no transcripts of the interviews.
