 File — Box: 2, Folder: 11

Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The Delane D. Chappell Collection consists of material that she collected while compiling business and historical information on firms, industries, companies and associations in Columbus, Georgia and the surrounding area while she worked for the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and the Chamber of Commerce from the 1980s through around 2000. Much of the material was used in the writing of the Columbus Community Overviews and her book, Columbus Celebrates the Millennium: An International Quest, co-authored with Pamela Baker in 1999. The folders and the folder names are original to the collection, keeping the wording of Ms. Chappell.
