Bradley Manufacturing Company – Audits, 1921-1924
Scope and Contents
The Bradley Papers were found when the records of the Eagle & Phenix Mills (MC 13) were being re-processed as a result of the move of the CSU archives around 2015. The re-processing of the Eagle & Phenix Mills was begun by Jesse Chariton. During his work on the corporate records, he identified the Bradley papers. His work was completed by Tom Converse in 2023.

Processing Information
According to comments in its audits, “The Bradley Manufacturing Company, a Georgia Corporation, was organized on July 9, 1892, under the name of Hamburger Cotton Mills, which name was subsequently changed, with an authorized capital of $30,000.00 with the privilege of increasing to $300,000.00. . . The original charter was renewed on July 8, 1912, for a further period of twenty years.”
