Waddell, aunt of Elizabeth Clason Kyle, along with her bank books, 1931-1944 newspaper clipping of June brides of 1939 updated will of Elba Waddell, January 1942 copy of the bill of Annie Kirkland Warren with a cover letter, February 2, 1942 World War II Ration Books, 1943 letter from James K. Mooney, registrar of Riverside Military Academy informing George Swift Kyle, Sr. that his son, George Jr. had been wounded in combat in North Africa during World War II letter to Dorothy (Winn?) from Mabel Winters about the death of her mother, August 4, 1943 photograph of a presentation ceremony of a WWII government award to George P. Processing Information
Processor’s note: George and Elizabeth Kyle were the parents of Clason Kyle. These folders contain not just letters to and from other family members but also photographs, newspaper clippings, wills, financial records, etc. Also included are letters from their son, Clason, during his college days and his early travels. These two boxes were processed at the item level to provide a detailed sample of the complex daily life of the Kyles.
