Existence and Location of Originals

The location of the originals of these letters is unknown, but they may be in the Peacock collection at the Rubenstein Library at Duke University. Also in the folder is a letter of 18 January, 2004, from John Zeigler to Cathy Fussell, director of the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians, saying, "I find that I loaned Dan Griffin the letters to Edwin from Carson or Reeves. He is going to have copies made and will send them to you."
