This collection is comprised of sketches, both original and copies of originals, drawn by Mrs. Esther M. "Mollie" Mealing for her volumes of Century Old Houses of Columbus and Vicinity. There is also included a copy of the research done for Georgia old homes, and her book Century Old Houses of Mid Georgia Vol. I. Mollie Mealing was born 8 August, 1916 and died on 11 December, 2009. She lived on Cooper Avenue in the Overlook section of Columbus, Georgia. She was a member of the Columbus Artists' Guild and The Pen Women. She was married to retired Lt. Col. John Mealing and is buried at Fort Benning, Georgia.
